This blog contains the fruits of the hard work of each student. Included are the stories of modern-day heroes whose lives and/or values resemble that of Rizal’s. A few articles also feature the various sites found in the North where glimpses of Rizal’s life are found. These might entice those readers who love learning about history. Additionally, the students of this class each took photos of different places in order to capture Rizal in the North. The photos featured in this blog were carefully handpicked by the Documentation team. Hopefully, this blog will be able to show you that Rizal isn’t just found in one or two places. His values and influence encompass every nook and cranny of the different islands in the Philippines. Although these connections might be quite subtle, it becomes clearer once we remember that a lot of the things that we enjoy today are possible because one brave soul used his pen to create written masterpieces that led to a great impact and opened the eyes of the Filipinos under the brutal Spanish rule.
